ESC KENTUCKY

ESC Kentucky chapter was founded by Emeritus President, Madam Onyinyechi Ezeh and her husband Honorable Temple Ezeh. Madam Onyinyechi after her own induction had a vision to bring Enyimba Social Club back to Kentucky. After the initial consultations with the original members, Kentucky ESC was formed September 29th, 2017. The club registered with the department of treasury and received an EIN number.

The club immediately took off and quickly gathered members and was able to hold their inauguration and 1st induction ceremony on May 17th and 18th, 2019. That induction was the 1st in the history of ESC where induction and accommodation of guests from all over the country was held in one complex without travelling outside the hotel. The induction was a success. Original 1st inductees were Lady Ifeanyi Okorie and Sir Nkem Okorie, Sir Edwin and Uchenna Ekeh, Dr. Hillary Iwuh, Chief Kenneth and Lolo Euphemia Okeke, Honorable Blessing and Vivian Kanu, Honorable Ron Chinyem, Honorable Bede and Isabella Iwu, Honorable Emmanuel Nwaogu. Members of this Kentucky ESC come from all parts of the southern and midwestern states.

Initial executives were Emeritus President and Founder Madam Onyinyechi Ezeh, Honorable Blessing Kanu, Secretary and NEC member, Sir Nkem Okorie NEC member. Sir Edwin Ekeh, Financial Secretary, Chief Kenneth Okeke NEC, Dr. Iwu who served as Inauguration and Induction Chairman.

Madam President Onyinyechi Ezeh and her executive team successfully developed the club’s bylaws that guide our conduct till today. Members meet once a month to discuss the club’s affairs and membership drive.

In November of 2023, the club had an election and new executives were elected. Sir Edwin Ekeh (Financial Secretary), Dr. Hillary Iwuh (Secretary), Chief Kenneth Okeke (Treasurer and NEC member), Honorable Blessing Kanu (NEC member and Provost).

Current members of ESC Kentucky are Emeritus President Madam Onyinyechi Ezeh, Honorable Temple Ezeh, Lady Ifeanyi Okorie (President), Honorable Sir Nkem Okorie, Honorable Sir Edwin and Uchenna Ekeh, Honorable Dr. Hillary and Neka Iwu, Honorable Chief Kenneth and Euphemia Okeke, Honorable Blessing and Vivian Kanu, Honorable Bede and Isabella Iwu, Honorable Ron and Veronica Chinyem, and Honorable Joy Omakachie.

The club holds annual Christmas party and at times summer party for members and their friends.
